Amazon is upping its India investment to $26 billion - Amazon India Blog

Amazon CEO Andy Jassy has pledged to invest an additional $15 billion in India over the next seven years, taking the company's total India investment across all businesses to $26 billion. During his first state visit to the US in Washington DC, Jassy met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the two discussed supporting Indian startups, creating jobs, enabling exports, digitisation, and empowering individuals and small businesses to compete globally. Amazon also committed to digitising 10 million small businesses, enabling $20 billion in exports, and creating two million jobs in India by 2025.
