E-commerce giant Amazon India has announced that it will open up its logistics and order fulfillment infrastructure to direct-to-consumer (D2C) brands that do not sell on its platform. The move aims to encourage D2C brands across India to leverage Amazon's logistics capabilities to serve customer orders from various sales channels. Amazon India has also partnered with India Post and the Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of Indian Railways to simplify cross-border logistics and enable faster deliveries. These initiatives align with Amazon's commitment to digitize MSMEs, enable billions of dollars in exports, and create jobs in India by 2025.
