Amazon digitizes 6.2M MSMEs and creates 1.3M jobs in India - Amazon India Blog

Amazon India is investing in initiatives to support Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) by digitizing over 6.2 million of them, including sellers, artisans, and logistics partners. The company has launched various initiatives to simplify online selling for MSMEs. In 2021, Amazon announced a $250 million venture fund to invest in technology-led startups. Indian exporters on the Amazon Global Selling program are expected to reach $8 billion in cumulative e-commerce exports by the end of 2023. Amazon India has created over 1.3 million direct and indirect jobs and aims to digitize 10 million MSMEs and create 2 million jobs by 2025.
