E-commerce giant Amazon has partnered with VE Commercial Vehicles Limited (VECV) to introduce up to 1,000 zero-emission electric trucks in its delivery operations in India over the next five years. As a first step, Amazon will deploy 50 electric trucks from Eicher Trucks and Buses in major hubs like Delhi and Gurugram. This collaboration aligns with Amazon's commitment to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2040 and drive innovation in the sustainable transportation sector.
