Aim is to make India a military logistics hub for US, Allies: Pentagon - The Week

The Pentagon has stated that its objective is to make India a logistics hub for the US and its allies, as military cooperation between India and the US deepens. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is currently on an official visit to the US, during which he and President Joe Biden signed a series of military agreements. The Pentagon declined to comment on the state of press freedom in India and said its focus was on preserving peace, stability and security in the Indo-Pacific region. The two countries are also collaborating on the INDUS-X defence ecosystem.
