Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd. (APSEZ), the biggest revenue contributor for the Adani Group, aims to become the world's largest port company by 2030. The company plans to increase its annual cargo volumes from 340 million tonnes to 1 billion tonnes. APSEZ also intends to transition from port intermediation to doorstep delivery, potentially increasing its share of customers' logistics spending. APSEZ's CEO, Karan Adani, mentioned that the company will expand its port interests outside India, focusing on operational ports with limited equity exposure. The acquisition of Haifa Port in Israel will enhance the group's strategic position.
